Our Showroom

Our showroom offers a large selection of caskets, vaults, cremation caskets, urns, urn vaults, burial clothing and other related items to suit your taste and price range. All of these items are located in a separate building across the street from the Parise Funeral Home building in Carbondale. By maintaining this separate building from the busy activity associated with viewings and funerals, families can take the necessary time to make all of the decisions concerning their loved ones final arrangements in a private and relaxed setting.

Our Arrangement Room

Our arrangement room is used to meet families to discuss funeral arrangements or advanced funeral planning.

 

 

Caskets

We have a large selection of caskets for you to view on our premises. They are made of metal and wood and come in many different styles, colors and interiors. We can customize casket interiors in a large selection of colors and styles in nearly all price ranges at no additional cost. Personalized embroidered blankets, back panels and pillows are also available. They can be embroidered with various objects related to hobbies, sports, professions, religion, ethnic heritage, military service, civic organizations or words of comfort from the bible, poems or favorite sayings. Our Semi-Precious Room

On display in the semi-precious room are four full size and six sample cut caskets made of Bronze and Copper.

 

Our Metal Room

 

The metal room offers five full size and eight sample cut caskets made of Stainless Steel and various gauges or weights of steel.

 

Our Wood Room

 On display in the wood room are eight full size and six sample cut caskets made of mahogany, walnut, cherry, maple, oak, pine and poplar.

Seventy percent of the caskets that families select from our display room are customized to their specific taste. Our casket provider, Matthews International Casket Division can have customized caskets delivered to us with next day service. We will take the time to explain all of your options when selecting a casket in any price range.

 

Burial Vaults

A large selection of burial vaults are available for you to view on our premises including two full size models. As a leading funeral home, we offer Wilbert Burial Vaults which across the nation are selected by more families than any other brand. Wilbert vaults are offered in three categories of protection which include premium, standard and basic. They are constructed of high quality structural concrete which provides strength and durability. Additional strength is added in bonded interior liners made of high impact thermoformed plastic such as ABS Marbelon, ABS Trilon or Strentex. Additional strength and beauty are added with interior linings of Bronze, Copper and Stainless Steel.

Wilbert Burial Vault Company can also personalize the exterior covers of certain vaults to reflect upon hobbies, sports, professions, religion, ethnic heritage, military service and civic organizations. This service is provided at no additional cost. The photo collage series of the deceased as shown above is available for a small additional charge. Cremation Caskets, Urns and Urn Vaults

Our large selection of cremation related products are displayed in their own room. Families selecting cremation at our funeral homes have many options to choose from concerning caskets, urns, urn vaults and other related items to suit their taste and price range.

 

We offer cremation caskets which are specifically designed for the cremation process in a wide selection of materials such as hardwood, wood veneer and cloth-covered fiberboard. Certain cremation caskets can be customized just as the caskets for burial and entombment are. Personalized embroidered blankets are also available with certain cremation caskets. Those families selecting direct/immediate cremation are not required to purchase a cremation casket. Alternative containers, which are minimum containers are used for this type of cremation.

 

 

Urns

Our Urn and Urn Vault Display

Our selection of urns are made of mahogany, walnut, cherry, maple, oak, pecan, poplar, bronze, pewter, stainless steel, marble, cloisonne, glass and ceramic. Urns are available in many different themes, shapes and colors. Special scattering urns, memory chests, custom engraving and keepsake urns, which are miniature versions of larger urns that can hold a small portion of cremated remains are also available. Keepsake urns can be kept in the family home or any other appropriate place while the remaining cremains are buried, entombed or scattered. We also offer a complete selection of cremation jewelry, which is designed to resemble traditional jewelry but can hold a minute portion of the cremated remains. Companion urns which are used to hold the cremated remains of two people are also available.

A selection of Wilbert Urn Vaults are on display in our cremation room. Urn vaults are designed and constructed in the same process and from the same materials as burial vaults. They are used when ground burial of cremated remains is selected. An urn vault protects the urn and cremated remains just as a burial vault protects a casket and the deceased. Urn vaults are constructed of high strength concrete and lined with high impact thermoformed plastic such as ABS Marbelon, ABS Trilon or Strentex. Additional strength is added with interior linings of bronze, copper and stainless steel.

Our Floral, Casket Personalization and Veteran Display

We offer a large selection of men's and ladies burial garments, stationery products which include register books, prayer cards, memorial folders, acknowledgment cards, crosses and memorial candles. We are able to custom print and laminate all of our stationary products in house. For your convenience, we also offer a selection of floral arrangements for the immediate family to select from. Also on display are veteran flag cases, memorial keepsake throws, plaques and portraits that can be used during the service and taken home as an everlasting keepsake.

Our selection room is designed to provide families with many options in choice, customization and price. We offer choices in all price ranges. What is most important to us is that you perceive value in what you selected. We have been able to accommodate every family we served no matter what their financial resources were.
