Dolorese M. "Dolly" Tingley, 64, of Harford, PA, died Monday morning, November 20, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family, after an illness. She is survived by her husband, George E. Tingley, Jr. They celebrated 45 years on marriage on May 6th.
Born June 1, 1953 in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Sherwood and Evelyn Marie VonBergen Rafferty.
Dolly had a compassion for cooking and over the years she provided her customers with delicious food and sincere friendship as the owner of Dolly's Restaurant in Harford and Lunkerz Deli in Clifford, PA. Dolly's true love was her family whom she treasured, especially her grandchildren who brought great joy to her life. Her family and friends are left with heavy hearts at her passing.
She is also survived by three children: Rebecca Resseguie and husband James of South Gibson, PA, Tiffany Germana and husband Chris of Hop Bottom, PA and Timothy Tingley of Harford, PA; eight grandchildren: Ethan, Evan, Madelyn, Parker and Kendyll Resseguie, Claire, Christopher, Jr. and Cameron Germana; three sisters: Jackie Henry of Montrose, PA, Muriel Tucker of Brackney, PA and Mary French of Susquehanna, PA; four brothers: Sherwood Rafferty of North Carolina, Larry Rafferty of Endicott, NY, Patrick Rafferty of Hallstead, PA and Merle "Junior" Carey of Binghamton, NY; many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Fred Rafferty.
As per Dolly's request, she was cremated and no services were held.
Arrangements were entrusted to Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
