Frank J. Bomba

Frank J. Bomba, 86, of Clifford Township, PA, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Allied Hospice, Scranton, PA. He is survived by his wife the former, Lillian Dennis.

Born August 9, 1932 in Archbald, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Stella Muschal Bomba.

Frank graduated of Mayfield High School and later served in the Army National Guard. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Lane Construction Company, Meriden, CT.

Frank was very energetic right up until his passing. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by one son: Frank Bomba of Scranton, PA; three step children: Edward Fenwick and wife, Cheryl of Gouldsboro, PA, Joseph Fenwick and wife, Dianna of Clarks Summit, PA and Elizabeth VonStorch and husband, Timothy of Scott Township, PA; a granddaughter: Nina Bomba; two sisters: Alice Cerminaro and husband, Anthony of Jermyn, PA and Sally Kutch of Newton Lake, PA; one brother: Edward Bomba and wife, Frances of Jermyn, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Julie Minehardt and Virginia Terpack; and one brother: Stanley Bomba.

A Catholic blessing service was held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA. Cremation followed.

Friends called Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 5-7 p.m.
