Obituary of Ronnie Latwinski

Ronnie Latwinski, (a.k.a. Mouse), 56, of Kingsley, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

Born April 19, 1965 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of the late Ed and Sonia (Sachko) Latwinski.

Ronnie was an avid race car driver in his younger days, winning his first race at the Penn Can Speedway. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, riding his side by side, taking Sunday drives to visit his brothers and making his own maple syrup at his home up on the hill.

In Ronnie's adult years, he worked in stone quarries, eventually opening up his own, Latwinski 1. He was proud of his quarry, as it was his dream and his hard work paid off.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the Wilkes Barre General Hospital doctors and nurses for taking care of Ronnie in his last days.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Tammy Latwinski; a son: Ernie Vooheis of Kingsley, PA; three step sons: Brian Penny and wife, Ruby of Hop Bottom, PA, Jason Penny of Clifford, PA, and Derek Stamp and wife, Markie of Waterloo, NY; three brothers: Dennis Latwinski and wife, Helen of Nicholson, PA, Ed Latwinski of Nicholson, PA, and Jerry Latwinski and life partner, Teri Brewer of Clifford, PA; many nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter: Christina Voorheis.

As per Ronnie's request, he was cremated and there will be no funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
