Obituary of Sheila A. Judge

Sheila A. Judge, 71, of Dickson City, PA, and formerly of Scranton, PA, died Monday morning, March 7, 2022 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 18, 1950 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Panetti Gravine.

Sheila was a devout Catholic and was raised in Childs and Carbondale. She was known for her cooking and baking and enjoyed Bingo and playing Nintendo Switch with her family. Prior to her retirement she had been a longtime property manager in Scranton.

She is survived by a daughter: Christa Judge; five grandchildren: Brandon Yount, Tyler Judge, Dakota Miller, Lawrence Del Guercio and Aiden Judge; a great-granddaughter: Mia Judge; a brother: James Gravine; two nieces: Jennifer and Sierra Gravine.

She was also preceded in death by her son: Brian Judge, a niece: Melissa Gravine; and a nephew: Peter Gravine.

The funeral was held Saturday, March 12, 2022 from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Seth Wasnak, pastor. Interment, St. Francis Cemetery, Eynon, PA.

Pallbearers: Brandon Yount, Lawrence Del Guercio, Tyler Judge and Dakota Miller.
